FEBRUARY - Went 1-1 in USA's 3-2 Fed Cup World Group 1r win over Argentina; reached 2r at Memphis (as WC, l. to No.5 seed Erakovic in 3s).

MARCH - Fell 1r at Indian Wells (as WC, l. to Safarova); fell 1r at Miami (as WC, l. to Hantuchova in 3s).

APRIL - Fell in Ponte Vedra Beach qualifying; reached 3r at Charleston (as qualifier, d. No.9 seed Wozniak en route; l. to No.6 seed Bartoli).

MAY - Won ITF/Indian Harbour Beach, FL-USA and ITF/Raleigh, NC-USA singles titles; fell in Roland Garros qualifying.

JUNE - Reached first Grand Slam 4r at Wimbledon (as qualifier, d. No.29 seed Bammer and No.6 seed Jankovic en route, falling to No.11 seed A.Radwanska; win over world No.6 Jankovic was first Top 10 win); made career Top 100 debut afterwards on July 6 (rose from No.124 to No.70).

JULY - Reached 2r at Stanford (as qualifier, l. to No.8 seed and eventual champion Bartoli).

AUGUST - Fell 1r at Los Angeles (as qualifier, l. to Hantuchova in 3s); fell 1r at Cincinnati (as qualifier, l. to No.11 seed Ivanovic in 3s); reached first Grand Slam QF at US Open (d. No.4 seed Dementieva, No.29 seed Sharapova and No.13 seed Petrova en route, falling to No.9 seed Wozniacki; win over world No.4 Dementieva was second Top 10 win); surged from No.70 to No.44 afterwards on September 14 (blowing past previous career-high of No.67 to make Top 50 debut).

SEPTEMBER - Withdrew from Quebec City w/left thigh injury; fell in Tokyo and Beijing qualifying.

OCTOBER - Withdrew from Luxembourg w/GI illness.

2006 - Played first events of career on ITF Circuit in United States.

2007 - Played first Tour qualifying at Memphis and US Open; also played on ITF Circuit.

2008 - Played first four Tour main draws, reaching 2r at Indian Wells and falling 1r at Miami and US Open (all as WC) then QF at Québec City (l. to Mattek); won one singles title on ITF Circuit.
