2004 - First season played exclusively in doubles; won one Tour doubles title; also reached first Grand Slam doubles final at Wimbledon (w/Sugiyama); made doubles Top 10 debut on March 22 (after Indian Wells; rose to No.10).

2005 - Season played exclusively in doubles; played mostly w/Black in first half (12 of 15 events), winning titles at Rome and Wimbledon (first career Grand Slam title); suffered left knee injury playing World Team Tennis after Wimbledon, undergoing surgery (ACL reconstruction) and withdrawing from rest of season.

2006 - Season played exclusively in doubles; won three Tour doubles titles.

2007 - Phenomenal season played exclusively in doubles and all w/Black; 69-14 team record brought nine titles, most notably at Australian Open, Wimbledon and Tour Championships; rose to No.1 on November 12 year-end rankings (co-No.1 w/Black; still going).

2008 - Another phenomenal season in doubles, going 66-14 in near-exclusive partnership w/Black; won 10 Tour doubles titles together, at Antwerp, Dubai, Berlin, Birmingham, Eastbourne, Stanford, Montréal, US Open (was fourth Grand Slam doubles title, all w/Black), Zürich and Tour Championships; runners-up four times, at Doha (l. to Peschke/Stubbs in final), Miami (l. to Srebotnik/Sugiyama in final), Moscow (l. to Petrova/Srebotnik in final) and Linz (l. to Srebotnik/Sugiyama in final); SF four times, incl. Roland Garros (l. to Medina Garrigues/Ruano Pascual) and Wimbledon (l. to Raymond/Stubbs); only six pre-SF losses in 24 events w/Black, incl.
