EASTBOURNE, UK - There will be a Wozniacki-Wozniak and an all-French semifinal schedule in Eastbourne, as those four players won their quarterfinals at the AEGON International in straight sets in the southern English city on Thursday.

Going into the quarterfinals there were only two seeds remaining and another one of them bit the dust Thursday, as No.8 seed Agnieszka Radwanska fell to Virginie Razzano, 76(5) 75. Razzano, who a day earlier had taken out the top seed, Elena Dementieva, was never really behind in either set with Radwanska, although she did nearly let a 5-2 lead get away against the defending champion in the second set before winning.

Razzano's next opponent will be Marion Bartoli, who reached her third straight semifinal in Eastbourne with a 61 64 win over Anabel Medina Garrigues. Bartoli is 2-1 lifetime against Razzano, winning at Paris and Rome in straight sets last season. Razzano's win came 10 years ago at an ITF Circuit event.
"Virginie beat two good players in the last two rounds so I'm expecting a tough match," Bartoli said. "It's nice there will be one Frenchwoman in the final with a chance to win Eastbourne."

Caroline Wozniacki and Aleksandra Wozniak had few problems in their matches, with Wozniak crushing qualifier Vera Dushevina, 61 60, and the No.6-seeded Wozniacki beating another Russian qualifier, Ekaterina Makarova, also in straight sets, 63 62.

Wozniacki has had no trouble with Wozniak previously, winning on grass in the first round of Wimbledon last year, 61 61, and on clay in the final of Ponte Vedra Beach earlier this year, 61 62. But Wozniak has had one of her greatest weeks in Eastbourne, including her career-best match win over world No.5 Svetlana Kuznetsova in the second round. She will be gunning for her third Top 10 win against Wozniacki on Friday, having also beaten Nadia Petrova this season.
"I played really clean, solid tennis today, and I'm really happy because with each match I feel I'm progressing," Wozniak said. "We don't get too many chances to play on grass each year so we have to make the most of it."
"On grass it's different and you really have to be focused the whole match," Wozniacki said. "Grass is definitely one of my favorite surfaces and I enjoy coming back to Eastbourne, it's great. It's a pity it's just a few weeks a year."
