Saddlebrook
Resort, one of the world's best in providing first-class
entertainment to tennis enthusiasts, is the official resort
of the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour. Nestled in 480 acres of pristine woodlands,
this award-winning oasis provides a secluded retreat from the
hectic pace of everyday life and is conveniently located 12
miles north of Tampa, Florida.
Continuously named as one of the Top 50 Resorts in the country
and most recently, as one of the Top 25 Adult Tennis Camps in
2003, Saddlebrook is home to a number of the Tour’s top-ranked
players and rising stars. Many other Tour players use Saddlebrook
as a training facility largely in part because of the quality
and number of available tennis courts - 45 including all four
Grand Slam surfaces. Additionally, the resort is home to the
Harry Hopman Tennis Academy. The Saddlebrook Tennis Program
provides instruction for players of all levels from beginners
to touring professionals.
In addition to the world-class tennis facilities, Saddlebrook
resort is home to two Arnold Palmer-designed golf courses, a
3,300-sq.-ft. state-of-the-art Fitness Center, a 7,000-sq.-ft.
European-style Spa, a 500,000 gallon Superpool, 800 deluxe guest
rooms and suites, four award-winning restaurants, and a year-round
children's program (S'Kids Club). Also, Saddlebrook has 33 flexible
meeting and function rooms totaling of 82,000 square feet. |
