London, England (July 3): Venus Williams beat Elena Dementieva to move into her seventh Wimbledon singles final. She is 4-2 in her first six, winning in 2000 (beating Lindsay Davenport), 2001 (beating Justine Henin), 2005 (beating Davenport again) and last year (beating Marion Bartoli) and finishing runner-up in 2002 and 2003 (to Serena Williams).
