Lisa Raymond and Samantha Stosur are one of the most successful doubles partnerships on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour and despite being together for more than two years the magic is showing no sign of dying out. The American-Australian duo have amassed a staggering 20 titles in unison and in the process have firmly established themselves as one of the most feared teams on Tour.

Raymond and Stosur made an inauspicious start to their partnership suffering straight-set defeats in their first two matches in tandem, but they found their feet in truly spectacular fashion, losing just two more matches for the remainder of the 2005 season which saw them triumph in New Haven, Luxembourg, Moscow, Philadelphia, the US Open and the Sony Ericsson Championships. The following 12 months saw the pair reign supreme on Tour as they won 60 matches and 10 tournaments - including Roland Garros and the successful defence of their Sony Ericsson Championships.

The reward for this magnificent season came in June, when they were presented with the ITF World Women's Doubles Champions 2006 award at a glamorous dinner during Roland Garros. After scaling the heights they did in 2006 it would have been easy for Raymond and Stosur to rest on their laurels, but this season has seen no let up in the team's intensity or desire for success as they have captured five titles - including back-to-back triumphs on the hardcourts of Indian Wells and Miami.
